How are breather valves sized?
Sizing follows the governing venting scenario, normally the larger of thermal breathing and liquid movement, using a recognised method such as API 2000. We need the tank volume, design pressure and vacuum, maximum filling rate and product properties.
Do flame arresters come with test certificates?
Each arrester is supplied with a test certificate, material certificate and dimensional drawing. Third-party certification can be arranged where your insurer or local authority requires it.
Can the set pressure be customized?
Yes. Valves are set and tested at the factory to the pressure and vacuum values in your specification, and the set-pressure test record is included in the delivery documents.
What maintenance do these accessories need?
Elements and seats should be inspected and cleaned at intervals set by the product and the site environment, since a blocked element restricts venting. Manuals, recommended spares and replacement elements are available with the order.
